Praised for her sensitive expression and profound understanding of music, LaLa Lee is described by Juno Award winning composer Dinuk Wijeratne as “undoubtedly a talent to watch”. The 23-year-old pianist has delighted audiences worldwide with solo, chamber, and orchestral performances and was named as one of CBC’s 30 Hot Classical Musicians under 30.

LaLa has performed with orchestras including the Shanghai Philharmonic, Xiamen Philharmonic, Symphony Nova Scotia, Nova Sinfonia, and Chebucto Symphony Orchestra, and has given concerts in China, Switzerland, and Canada. She recently gave a recital tour across Atlantic Canada and was a semifinalist of the Corcoran Concerto Competition.

LaLa has a Bachelor of Music (Honours) and Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School of Music in Toronto. She will be attending the Aspen Music Festival and Tianjin Juilliard Piano Festival this summer.
